Getting tired of the usual suspects for lunch, we decided to walk towards ABS-CBN’s vicinity in search for something new. We came upon Tornado Peri-Peri Chicken, a new fast-food restaurant which boasts their very unique yet Filipino-adapted flavors.
We just settled into ordering 2 of their Chicken Maryland as it really stirred our curiosity as to how it tastes. Since A is not really fond of anything spicy, he opted to have his with just the plain original sauce. L, on the other hand, loves spicy food so he had his with what they call tiger's fury which really proved to put that extra kick on their chicken. To be quite honest, the taste of their chicken is okay. There's nothing really fantastic or special about it. Just some grilled chicken smothered with their special sauce. To top that, when we ordered our drink, on the spot, the crew mixed a
sachet of powdered iced tea into two glasses of water and put ice cubes
on it. How cool is that?
It was worth trying though. MBA
